BREAKING: Someone in the car farted and nobody will admit to it

We all know the old saying "whoever smelt it delt it" and while the words ring true here and there, you can't help but wonder if that saying is right only as often as a broken clock. In my experience as a journalist, this saying does not hold its water, since there were four of us in the car, and surely not all of us dealt it. If I were a gambling man, I would say that Keith farted and then waited for someone else to smell it and then followed his lead and asked who it was.
